Who we are
National Assembly of Youth Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (NAYORA) is a united youth platform which was founded by 11 youth organizations on the 21st of November of 1995 and was registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan on 31st of January of 1996. Since its creation, the number of members has reached to 150.
NAYORA is a united youth platform, the leading youth organization cooperating with international organizations, organizing international integration of youth.
NAYORA has been a co-founder and full-fledged member of the European Youth Forum (EYF) and the Turkish World Youth Union since 1997, the UN Economic and Social Council’s with consultation status since 2002, and the Islamic Conference Youth Forum since 2004.
The National Council, which became a fully-fledged member of the European Youth Forum in 2000, was represented for the first time at the Youth Advisory Board of the Council of Europe in 2004 and has been a member of the Advisory Council since 2014. In 2002, the National Council of Youth Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan jointly with the Eurasian Association of International Development initiated the first Conference of the Forum Founders in Baku in 2003 with the initiative of establishing the Islamic Conference Youth Forum. In 2012, the National Council coordinated the activity of the Azerbaijanis working abroad and the World Azerbaijanis Youth Union became the co-founder of these organizations, participating in the creation of the “Great Silk Road” International Youth Union, covering the young leaders and representatives from nearly 40 countries.
On December 9, 2014, the National Assembly of Youth Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan was elected as a full-fledged member of the World Youth Assembly and elected to the board on December 10.

Advancing the role of young people and youth organizations in shaping the civil society.
Vision
The goal of the NAYORA is to coordinate the activities of the children and youth organizations, to create the conditions for their development, to work on the national, regional and international interests of the member organizations, to work together in protection of the young people's rights and to achieve solidarity in resolving these issues.
The main task of the organization is to strengthen the state independence of Azerbaijan through the young people's knowledge and skills, to take the decent place in the international arena and to build a democratic state.
